• Course Overview
    The Patrol Rifle Instructor Course is a 24-hour program designed to develop highly capable law enforcement firearms instructors in the deployment and instruction of the patrol rifle platform. This course is not intended to teach basic rifle marksmanship. Instead, it focuses on refining the student’s ability to effectively teach, diagnose shooter performance, and manage rifle training programs within their agency.

    Emphasis is placed on instructor development, performance-based training, and the integration of the patrol rifle into real-world law enforcement applications. Students will be required to demonstrate both advanced shooting competency and the ability to instruct others under structured and dynamic training conditions.

    Pre-Requisite:
    You must be a current pistol and shotgun instructor to attend this training.

    • The ability to articulate and defend their training methods from a legal and administrative perspective.

    • Comfortable Clothing suitable for dynamic scenarios and movements.

    • Duty belt & gear, handheld flashlight, protective vest, and hydration system.
    • Patrol rifle with a minimum of 3 rifle magazines. 
    • Duty pistol with a minimum of 3 magazines
    • 150 Pistol Rounds
    • 500 rifle rounds 
    • Note-Taking Material & Laptop.
